One year after her son’s murder, Chinx’s mom is still searching for answers, and is wondering why his Coke Boys’ boss French Montana and Diddy won’t reach out to her.
“P. Diddy and French Montana need to come out and see me,” she said at a memorial being held for Chinx at the site in Queens, New York where he died. “They ain’t said nothing to me since my child’s been dead. Even when my child was dead they wouldn’t say nothing to me. I’m Lionel’s mother, I need answers. They disrespected me all the way.”
She added that at her son’s funeral she did have a brief exchange with French.
“At the funeral (the) only thing French said to me … I asked French why did y’all do that to my child? He said ‘Because he wouldn’t listen.’ And I told French you’re not his father, but I am his mother. That’s what I said to French and there were no more words after that.”
Some have speculated that the “Dope House” rapper’s death and the 2007 murder of his Riot Squad partner, Stack Bundles, are somehow connected. Chinx’s mom agrees.
“Stack Bundles and Lionel’s (murders) are connected,” she said. “I’m telling y’all, it’s connected. What’s done in the dark will always come to the light”
