Twenty years ago, AlysiaRogers played Shanice in John Singleton’s classic movie Boyz N The Hood about life in South Central Los Angeles , Ricky’s live-in baby mother. She didn’t have too many lines other than apologizing for interrupting Ricky’s college-admissions interview to chase after the child.
