Friday afternoon at the Woodruff arts center Tameka Raymond, the ex-wife of “The Voice” judge Usher, launched Kile’s World Foundation in memory of her 12-year-old son Kile
She shared that Kile’s World Foundation will “offer art- based camps with multiple workshops including general instruction in the areas of acting, singing, dance, painting, illustration, music production and digital media.” Also, Tameka says Kile’s World Foundation is poised to eventually open a magnet school with an emphasis on music and the arts.
Accordind to Raymond:
“This would have been our beloved Kile’s 12th birthday,” the announcement reads. “So to honor him we are Launching a Foundation “Kile’s World” which is a Fine and Performing Arts based program for youth- Ages 10-17. Granting them access to Fine art, Theatre, Dance, Music, Production and Digital media… All of which were Kile’s deep personal passions. All Donations will benefit “Kile’s World” Foundation.”
